I just got a second HTC HD2 and it doesnt seem to have the touchscreen failure like my old HTC HD2 i sent back two time. But i have noticed it has a different screen. You can see pretty bright dots on it which are not that visible on the old screen. If that is true HTC nows about the failure but doesnt tell people. Both hd2s have the same ROM (1.66.407.1) and beeing set up the same way. The up to date hd2s seem to be shippid with the fine working display but i only can assume. Maybe my open questions get answered with the time on the following XDA devs thread: forum.xda-developers.com

please please please help me, i have a problem with my hd2 keyboard exactly as this video (htc hd2 keyboard problems) please tell me what can i do i am so sad because ive just bought it just befor 1 week
What i want to show is that there might be two different HD2s, the eraly ones and the newer ones which have a different touchscreen. HTC doesnt give a comment to it so far but in my opinion they sold faulty devices (well first without knowing it maybe) and since the know the faulty they changed it. I know this is usual business but i dont get why they pretend to fix it 2 times and i got it back like this.
Dude i dont fake this video and all HD2s ive had in my hands are working worse than a resistive screen. BUT that doesnt mean its a hardware failure, it can also be a software problem. A hardware failure is shown by my old HD2 like when you press the lower right corner on the device it starts drawing without even putting the finger on the display.
i dont believe htc uses a new touchscreen at new devices, i think there were one or two bad screens! i already had 3 HD2s in my hands and no one had this screenbugs!
